卧轴圆台平面磨床结构布局采用立柱拖板式：圆工作台除了旋转运动外，随拖板一起作纵向往复进给动力，圆工作台可绕水平轴回转±3°，满足凸凹锥面磨削，磨头沿立柱导轨作垂直进给。利用砂轮周边磨削。加工精度高，可达到较高的表面粗糙度。
机床具有自动垂直进给，零位自动停止进给等功能，可减轻操作者劳动强度，实现多机床管理。工作台直径500毫米以上，机床还具有恒速切削装置（确保工件不同直径线速趋于一致），可获得被磨表面质量一致性。
由于采用行程控制操纵箱，工作台纵向移动换向精度高，可适应带凸台盘形零件磨削。机床砂轮主轴分别采用静压轴承，滚动轴承和三块瓦滑动轴承。机床导轨分别采用滚动导轨、静压导轨和动压卸荷导轨。精度保持性好。使用寿命长。
高精度卧轴圆台平面磨床的供油系统备有散热装置 采有冷磁工作台控制机床热变形，保证高精度和高表面粗糙度磨削要求。
本系列机床适用于工具厂，轴承厂，汽车拖拉机厂、量刃具、精密仪器、机床等行业、可磨削盘形零件、摩擦片、轴承环、活塞环、盘型刀具、分度盘、环形导轨等平行度、粗糙度，要求较高的零件磨削。

功能
本机床采用三座标数控系统，分别控制磨头垂向运动，工作台纵向运动和分度头回转，其中纵向与垂向运动可实现联动，集操作按钮，编程键及CRT字符显示为一体，便于编程和数据输入。以专用砂轮修整器进行砂轮自动成行修整，输入程序后，即可实现从金钢滚轮成形修整砂轮及其修整补偿，工作分度，垂向与纵向联动磨削凸凹成形表面，退刀，直至工作台复回停车的整个自动磨削循环。

Function
This grinder is adopted 3-coordinates CNC system, with control vertical teed of wheel head, longitudinal move of worktable, and index head revoling. It be able to realize linkage of both move of longitudinal and vertical. It integration of operation button, programming, and CRT display character, for easily program and date input, with a special dresser for profile dressing grinding wheel.
With program entered, a full grinding cycle in automation will be performed starting from wheel being rolled into profile by a diamond roll including correction and compensation. Workpiece being indexed, convex and concave profile surface being grind linkage of both in vertical to longitudinal directions, wheel being withdrawn, until machine stoppage after worktable returns to the position where workpiece is fixed.

机床采用立柱磨头垂直进给，工作台往复运动布局形式，结构紧凑，刚性好，精度稳定，纵向和垂向两组导轨均采用镶钢淬硬滚动结构，并有滚珠丝杠、直流伺服电机驱动，运动精度高，使用寿命长。
