卧轴圆台平面磨床结构布局采用立柱拖板式：圆工作台除了旋转运动外，随拖板一起作纵向往复进给动力，圆工作台可绕水平轴回转±3°，满足凸凹锥面磨削，磨头沿立柱导轨作垂直进给。利用砂轮周边磨削。加工精度高，可达到较高的表面粗糙度。
机床具有自动垂直进给，零位自动停止进给等功能，可减轻操作者劳动强度，实现多机床管理。工作台直径500毫米以上，机床还具有恒速切削装置（确保工件不同直径线速趋于一致），可获得被磨表面质量一致性。
由于采用行程控制操纵箱，工作台纵向移动换向精度高，可适应带凸台盘形零件磨削。机床砂轮主轴分别采用静压轴承，滚动轴承和三块瓦滑动轴承。机床导轨分别采用滚动导轨、静压导轨和动压卸荷导轨。精度保持性好。使用寿命长。
高精度卧轴圆台平面磨床的供油系统备有散热装置 采有冷磁工作台控制机床热变形，保证高精度和高表面粗糙度磨削要求。

Horizontal-Spindle Rotary Table SURFACE grinder 73 Series
The structure of pillar and planker is adopted on the horizontal-Spindled rotary table Surface Grinder produced by this factory, i.e. in addition to revolving. the working table moves longitudinally with the planker for feeding and can be horizontally inclined for the purpose of grinding convex or concave cone, while the grinding head moves up and down vertically along the pillar for feeding, with the edge of grinding wheel being utilized for grinding, thus resulting in a high grinding accuracy and a high degree of finish.
With the function of auto vertical feeding and auto feed-stop at Zero, The labour I ntensity can be reduced for the operator and operation of several sets of machine by one operator be realized. The diameter of the working table is above 500mm and the grinder is furnished with a controller of constant cutting for a consistent quality of the ground surface.
Due to the adoption of stroke controlling box, the accuracy of reset at the same speed is relatively high for the longitudinal movement of working table in adaptation to the grinding of workpiece with a part in flange shape. The static pressure bearing, rolling bearing and three-met-alled bush bearing are adopted for the main spindle of grinding wheel and the rolling guide, static-pressure guide and dynamic-pressure loading guide adopted for the rail of the grinder, thus guaranteeing a high accuracy and a long working life.
The Horizontal Spindle Rotary Table Surface Grinder with a high precision is provided with a radiator in the coolant circulating system and equipped with a cooling magnetic working table for the control of thermal distortion and meeting of the requirements on high accuracy and degree of finish.
